Way Back When-esday: Fourth of July

My cousin's girlfriend, Rachel, is a freelance photographer and got to take lots of pictures of the babies (and mommy and daddy!) at our family's 4th of July cook out.

This outing actually went VERY well, compared to our memorial Day cook out which was a disaster for us. Amazing what a difference a month in age and a little experience for mom and dad can make! Due to their happy dispositions, we got a lot of great baby/family shots and here a few of the best ones:

Not sure what we are going to do about this binkie habit...

Her perfect little curious face

Colie looks pissed and of course the dog isn't cooperating but I'm so glad to have a nice picture of all 5 of us!

More flashbacks can be found at Twinfatuation!

  1. So cute - very nice photos and I hope you have hard copies hanging in your home. Penny's a pacifier addict. I'm okay with it but we try to limit to nap times unless she's fussy or at doctor's appointments but since both those things happen a lot she has the paci a lot. Oh, well - it helps. Don't sweat it. She shows her true love by offering her paci.

  2. Wow! The pictures are great! Rachel really captured Collette in such a sweet way and Sebastian with his cute smirk! Glad this cookout went better than the last!

  3. Great pictures!! Beautiful family. I also wouldn't worry about the paci - it can be broke with no problems around 2 years old. Good thing about the cookout looks like fun!

  5. Great pics!!! You guys look awesome :)

Don't worry too much about the paci. My twins had theirs until they turned 3 and I could reason with them...just at bed time by that point, but still *THREE*

  6. What a fantastic group of shots! (You are SOOO pretty!) Let me echo the paci reassurance. Gave ours up at 2, and it was a rugged start to a night, but never looked back. It'll be FINE!

Thanks so much for playing along with Way Back When-esday!
